WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?
The Church understands this Sacrament to be a confirmation of a person’s Baptismal Promises and commitment to live out the faith in their daily lives.
At Baptism we are born into the Body of Christ. At Confirmation our membership is confirmed, and the Eucharist completes our initiation in the Catholic faith community by nourishing our relationship with God and the Church.
The central mark of Confirmation is the reception of the Gifts of the Spirit, enabling the person of faith to live more fully the life of the Church and to witness to the love of God to others.
There are different programs to prepare those interested in Confirmation, depending on the experience of the candidate. For more information, please contact the Faith Formation office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
